Dear Rick: I wanted to drop you this quick email to thank you for your exceptional and professional service. And I do mean exceptional. Two years ago when my pump finally needed replacement, you had a replacement shipped to me in no time and it was the lowest price I could find anywhere. When you recently worked through your Christmas holiday to help me with a new filter system, and worked to get a real great price, I was really overwhelmed. You really know your business! For sure you will always have my repeat business and any referrals that I ever have the chance to make. Sincerely, Bill Masuda
Rick: Sorry for the delay in sending this long overdue thank you. Wow! What an unexpectedly wonderful experience I have had ordering and installing my Polaris 280 pump and sweep from your service Rick. Let me explain my skepticism ordering something over the Internet, sight unseen, and then the quality of customer service I received from you personally! I have surfed the Internet always looking for a good deal. However, my experience has been that the cheapest products available, or at least similarly priced products usually come with "buyers beware" attached. I can't count the number of returned items, the delay in refunds and the total lack of customer service I have received in the past. So, with this as a background, I decided to ask a few questions before entering into yet another Internet minefield purchase. I sent a number of emails to websites that looked like they had good products and services for my swimming pool needs. This included yours at http://www.rickspoolservice.com. Low and behold only 2 responded to my questions out of about 7. And only you responded answering my initial questions and asking me more about my specific needs. Needless to say, I was a bit shocked! Why would you care? I was just another Internet email. I soon found out this as not an exception with your service, but a golden rule. Our email correspondences addressed my initial questions about the Polaris 280 and 380 pool sweeps and which was the best fit for my pool. Then, you suggested that I call you so you could get a better understanding of my specific needs. This was the first of 2 or 3 conversations where we talked about my pools existing system and how you believed that I could actually install the sweep and pump motor. Assessing my knowledge, the pools condition and my ability, you suggested that I was able to follow the installation instructions and should have no problem installing the unit. At this point I became a little skeptical of your judgment! But, again you resolved any concerns by saying that at any step during the installation I could contact you and we could resolve the issues by phone. Ok. I made the ‘buy decision’ based on your web page, emails and phone calls. You cultivated a rare commodity in today's environment... TRUST. The rest was history, so to speak! About 5 days later the Polaris 280 and pump arrived at my house, and the next day less than 3 hours later the pump motor, and pool sweep were installed! Oh, by the way, you were right! It was easy and I was able to do it myself. Oh, I almost forgot the best part from a consumer point of view. The cost was 50% the price I was quoted from a local pool service and pool installation company to purchase and install the Polaris!! Yes, no joking, I saved 50%!! Now as I look back on this experience I truly think the best part was working with you, Rick, to understanding what I needed, what I could afford, and the excellent customer service you provided me through-out this purchase and installation. I know this sounds a little corny, but you have reestablished my trust in dealing on the Internet, at least with you! Thanks again for the great service, attention to detail and follow-up related to the sale. It just doesn't get any better. Regards, I just had to write a few lines about my online shopping experience with Rick's Pool Service. |
